どんな中学・高校生活を送っていましたか?
When I was a student, we only had high school at that time - six years at elementary school, four years at secondary school (that is, high school), then college or university. In the Philippines, we have a ranking system and students are given honors/awards at the end of the school year during the closing ceremonies. If not the top 1 student, I was always in the top 2 of the entire grade level; except for the final year (4th year) where I was ranked the top 4. For that reason, students were challenged to strive harder and do their best to get good and high grades. Competition became our motivation to excel in academics. I competed with my friends to be on top, but we remained good friends and hung out during break times and after school; we kept our friendship until today. I love sciences, especially biological sciences, but I really had a hard time with chemistry. Even though I got good grades with mathematics, I really find it too challenging. I was a member of different clubs: dance troupe, theater and drama club, volleyball club, and the school newspaper. I never experienced having school trips, however, I enjoyed many school events and festivals: Intramurals (Sports Day), Nutrition Month, Buwan ng Wika (Filipino Language Month), Christmas Parties, and more.
麗澤瑞浪の好きなところは?
The natural environment. I live in the rural and mountainous area of Davao City, and living in the countryside, like where Reitaku Mizunami is, makes me feel comfortable, relaxed, and peaceful. I love the mountains and the trees, and witnessing the plants change colors according to season is something that I look forward to. I love the Japanese idea and practice of shinrin-yoku. I can spend hours just being with trees and nature.
Of course, I like the professional and social environment here. The teachers and staff members are so approachable and kind, yet professional. The students? Yes. They were so friendly and respectful, and welcomed me warmly.
100万円と一カ月の休みがあったら何をしますか?
One million yen is around Php 400,000 (Philippine Peso) today. With that on hand, I would invest it in stocks at the stock market or in other businesses that would give me dividends. But to be honest, if I really, really, really have it, with that amount and a month off, I would definitely travel to places I dreamt of living: Tuscany in Italy, Switzerland, the countryside of the UK, after paying all my dues and loans (LOL).

Passing entrance examinations or any other exams need a lot of preparation. My initial advice is to be serious with what you are studying from the beginning. Know your strengths and weaknesses and develop a studying/learning plan. Make use of the "practice tests" because it can help you develop test-taking strategies. Other than studying hard, you must enjoy the process of learning and gaining knowledge.

おすすめの書籍

"What I Know For Sure" by Oprah Winfrey, "The Little Book of Hygge" by Meik Wiking, and "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. For Japanese fiction, I enjoy the works of Haruki Murakami, and I am currently finishing "1Q84."

趣味

I love driving around, especially to quiet and peaceful places like the mountains, forest parks, and riverbanks. I enjoy camping and I wanted to stay in cabin houses. I also love having a cup of coffee in Japanese-style coffee shops or kissaten. I also enjoy reading, studying, coloring books, playing e-games, watching movies and anime, and playing volleyball.
